Hazara Americans protested on Friday June 11, 2010 (10:00 AM – 1:00 PM) on US Capitol grounds (in front of US Congress) to voice their concerns on Kuchi (Pashtun nomads) and Taliban incursions in Behsud, Day Mirdad in Wardak province, and Nahur and Khawat in Ghazni Province. These yearly Kuchi and Taliban attacks have resulted to killings, lootings, plunder and displacements of native Hazara civilians in thousands.
Protesters strongly condemned these attacks and showed sympathy and solidarity with the victims, and to demand from the United States to play an active role in resolving this conflict.
Additionally, Hazara Americans also submitted their resolution to the US Congress addressing Nancy Pelosi, Speaker of the House of Representative; John Kerry, Chair of Foreign Relations Committee; Harry Reid, Senate Majority Leader; Mitch McConnell, Senate minority leader; Mark Warner, Virginia senator; Jim Webb, Virginia Senator; James Moran, member of house of representative (Virginia); Frank Wolf, member of house of representative; Chris Van Hollen, Jr., member of house of representative; and James McGovern, Senator.
Also, said resolution contained the following demands from the United States government:
1. To stop being indifferent to the killings of Hazaras,
2. To interfere in the Hazara-Kuchi dispute by playing an active role in resolving the conflict permanently and in accordance with Article 14 of the Afghan constitution;
3. To put pressure on President Karzai to declare all prior unjust and oppressive decrees granting land and Hazara pastures to Kuchis, null and void;
4. To pressure the Afghan government to arrest the perpetrators of the atrocities in Behsud, Day Mirdad, Nahur and Khawat, and bring them to justice;
5. To pressure the Afghan government to compensate the victims of the Kuchi armed attacks;
6. To pressure the Afghan government to expand the disarmament process to include Kuchis;
7. To urge President Karzai to issue a decree prohibiting the yearly arrival of Kuchis in Hazarajaat until a permanent solution to the conflict is found, and;
8. To put pressure on the Afghan government to further include international members to the Commission assigned to resolve the Hazara-Kuchi conflict – currently, the commission consists only of Afghan members and has been incompetent and failed to comply with its mandate.

Nutty Pelosi has got to end up being one of this almost all liberal political figures throughout the actual country. It’s onerous with regard to me personally to believe just how people can certainly reelect her inside their own proper mind.
